Just for today, I will let go of anger. Just for today, I will let go of worry. Today, I will count my many blessings. Today, I will do my work honestly. Today, I will be kind to every living creature.Mikao Usui

Reiki is a Japanese healing system in which life force energy is directed through the hands to various points on or within the body in order to rejuvenate, heal, align, harmonize, and restore balance. Reiki is a Japanese word that translate as “God Light Energy”; not to be mistaken as a Religion, Reiki is a philosophy.

REI ~ The Whole of Creation

KI ~ Life Energy

Ki is the name given to the vital energy that is used to animate and give life to creation on earth. This energy goes by other names in other cultures such as chi (Chines) and prana (Hinduism).

Reiki energy does not guarantee medical healing miracles, however studies show that Reiki treatments are effective for restoring balance, which can improve ill health for clients. The restoration of balance is the belief in an energy that supports the body’s innate or natural healing abilities. Reiki has been studied for a variety of conditions including: insomnia, pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, recovery from injury and to restore vitality. Reiki is even beneficial to animals as well.

Stephanie Lise Groulx acts as a channel for this healing energy, offering it to her clients for their highest potential, well-being, and to heal imbalances at their core. The channel is guided by universal wisdom; this energy flows through the channel to the recipient; it is not the practitioner who wills it but like water through a young bamboo reed, the Reiki will flow.

Stephanie completed her Reiki Level I of Usui Shiki Ryoho, under the Reiki Master/Teacher Denise Carpenter, B.A., RT-CRA of Reiki Associates (Perth, ON, CA). A Member of the Canadian Reiki Association. https://reiki.ca/

Stephanie received training in Usui Shiki Ryoho or (Usui System of Natural Healing) a practice that recognizes and honors the spiritual lineage of Dr. Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Stephanie’s lineage to Sensei Mikao Usui is only displaced by six Reiki Masters. Her teacher received training from Leah Smith who received direct master training from Phyllis Lei Furumoto.

Stephanie has an Advanced Aesthetics Diploma from Gina’s College Of Advanced Aesthetics. With certificates in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Spa Therapy. She also has a Collage Diploma as a Medical Secretary. Currently, she works within the field of medical education for a Hospital and University.

Stephanie’s goals are to complete her Reiki training and become a Reiki Practitioner. She also has an interest in Animal Reiki and will include animals in her Reiki practice. She will be applying for membership at the Canadian Reiki Association  after her Reiki Mastership.

When she is not pursuing Reiki, you can find Stephanie studying Eastern philosophies, charging crystals or drinking green-tea while she attempts to master the art of Japaneses cooking. She lives with her superhero husband and their two rumbustious cats.🐱🐱
